Currently each owner of the electricity meter, having only an 8-digit device number indicated on its case, can receive the necessary information (passport, brief passport, declaration, parameterization protocol) in pdf format on the company’s website in the section “Electronic Documents”. Thus, the risk of loss of meter documentation will be eliminated. In addition, another convenient option has been added: by scanning a QR-code from a mobile device in the upper right corner of the brief passport, the user is automatically redirected to the web-page with a list of electronic documents of this meter.
It should be noted that the search function for electronic documents will be available only for devices put on sale starting from April this year.
Each next step to eliminate the use of paper will help save forests and reduce energy consumption for its production, printing on it, lessen the need for printing devices, plastic, which eventually ends up in landfills.
