«NIK-ELEKTRONIKA» LLC established in 2005; it was then that in Kyiv the production of electrical energy meters was kick-started.

Development in the field of the production of smart electricity meters and works on implementation of automated control systems and utility metering for electrical power system of Ukraine have begun.

The new production sites were established, the serial production of smart electricity meters started, and the industrial operation of automated electricity metering control systems began. In 2009 the company produced in quantity the expanded line of single-phase and three-phase smart electricity meters. It also started developments in the new fields, i.e. production of water, heating and gas meters began.

In 2010-2011, the system of automated control of electricity metering for electrical power system of Georgia was developed and implemented.

The company received certificates of quality management system ISO 9001: 2008 and ecological management systems ISO 14001: 2004. The development and implementation of cathodic protection stations for main gas pipelines began.

The company commences production of self-engineered constant-voltage units with the new microprocessor technology VOLT PROTECTOR. They provide stable operation of electrical devices in a wide range of voltage 145-275V. Nowadays the product line includes constant-voltage units with capacity from 1.4 KVA to 16 KVA.

The company receives conformity certificates in accordance with EU standards. Since 2016, it has been developing and implementing automatic quality control systems at the place of production that excludes the influence of the human factor in this direction. Each device undergoes a thorough safety check with the use of specialized equipment and software. In this year, a pilot project on automated electric power metering in Kazakhstan is implemented.

«NIK-ELEKTRONIKA» LLC received conformity certificate of quality management system for compliance with the standard ISO 9001: 2015, issued by DEKRA company, and DSTU ISO 9001: 2015, issued by the State Enterprise “Ukrmetrteststandard” that confirmed the proper manufacturing quality level. «NIK-ELEKTRONIKA» LLC became a member of Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In April 2018, the electricity meters of the company were tested at the Intertek Laboratory (ASTA), the United Kingdom. Successful certification was another testimony that the company follows the global trends in the field of the Smart Grid. In this year, the company invests heavily in the production of constant-voltage units, there are three novelties with the power of 1,4 KVA, 6 KVA and 8 KVA in the model range.
